The new Canada Student Service Grant (CSSG) provides qualified post-secondary students and recent graduates with volunteer opportunities while supporting not-for-profit organizations with flexible solutions to address COVID-19 response during summer 2020. The CSSG is designed to offer growth, possibility and fulfilment for post-secondary students and recent graduates. Program highlights:
Apply for a grant from $1,000 up to $5,000 once you complete your qualifying volunteer hours
Develop skills for your specific volunteer opportunity through LinkedIn Learning
Build your resume while helping your community
With the CSSG’s trained student volunteers, not-for-profit organizations across Canada will receive support for their important work. Program highlights:
Volunteer Placement Managers to help guide program design and implementation, including recruitment and training of student volunteers
Flexible volunteer opportunities for student volunteers without participation barriers like geography and internet access
Eligible organizations may receive funds to offset costs directly associated with the CSSG
